Fixed teeth on implants are a complete prosthetic restoration fixed onto 4 or 6 dental implants. The implants are inserted into the jawbone and replace the roots of the natural teeth, and a prosthetic restoration reproducing the complete set of teeth is mounted on top of them. This approach removes the need to place one implant for every missing tooth, which reduces treatment time and the total cost compared with classic rehabilitation on individual implants.
The All-on-4 procedure uses four implants per arch, two of which are positioned vertically in the front area and two tilted in the back area to avoid zones with reduced bone volume.
The All-on-6 procedure uses six implants evenly distributed across the arch and is recommended in cases with sufficient bone volume or when the clinical situation requires additional support for the final restoration.
The decision between All-on-4 and All-on-6 is made after the initial consultation and the 3D CBCT scan, when the doctor evaluates bone volume, bone quality and individual anatomy.
The fixed set of teeth on implants is fitted in two stages: a fixed provisional restoration, which can be placed within the first 24 hours after implant insertion when stability allows it, and the final restoration made of zirconia, ceramic or combined materials, fitted after the osseointegration period of 4 to 6 months.

The packages do not include the final prosthetic restoration. This is fitted after 4-6 months and, depending on the material chosen (ceramic, zirconia, Candulor), costs between 10,000 and 15,000 RON.

At Dental Chic, we work mainly with the Straumann and Neodent systems, both from the Swiss Straumann Group, two of the dental implant systems with the longest international clinical documentation. We also have other modern implant systems available, such as Megagen and Nobel Biocare, for clinical situations where a different design is more suitable.
The choice of system is made on an individual basis, according to the clinical situation and the anatomical requirements of each patient.
